Best ski holiday we've had in years
The slopes here are just on another level. We skied the Verdons area and the grooming was perfect every single morning. Lifts are fast, queues are short, and the views from the top are absolutely mad. Snow conditions were brilliant for early March.
Fancy but actually worth it
Yes it's expensive, no question. But the quality of everything - the slopes, the food, the service - is genuinely top tier. Had a meal at a restaurant near La Croisette and it was one of the best I've had on any ski trip. The piste variety keeps you busy all week.
Incredible skiing, great resort overall
Connected to the Three Valleys which means you never run out of terrain to explore. The Courchevel 1850 area feels polished without being stuffy. Snow was in great shape mid-February and the mountain restaurants actually serve decent food without completely robbing you.
A proper luxury mountain escape
Stayed up in 1850 and the whole place felt effortlessly upscale. The helipad area is something else - watching helicopters come and go while you ski past is just wild. Après ski scene is lively and the fondue spots in the village are genuinely cozy and delicious.
Great spot for a family ski week
Took the kids for the first time and it worked out really well. Plenty of gentle runs lower down the mountain, good ski school options, and the village itself is easy to get around. The resort has a relaxed feel during the day. Kids were exhausted every evening which is exactly what you want!
Early season skiing done right
Came in December and the snow coverage was already solid. The resort felt quieter than peak season which was a bonus - shorter lift queues and more room on the pistes. The village lights at night look great and the raclette at a little place near the main square was absolutely spot on.
